Robotic Systems Integration Engineer (SLA & SLS)

Formlabs is seeking a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to enhance their 3D printing technology for various applications, particularly in the dental sector. The role focuses on integrating firmware and hardware systems, managing requirements, and collaborating with design teams to deliver high-quality products.

What you'll do

• Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into cohesive systems
• Collaborate with system architects to document system descriptions
• Define and refine control algorithms for electro-mechanical subsystems
• Manage system and subsystem requirements and changes
• Design and execute test plans to validate system performance
• Analyze results and recommend improvements for systems

What they're looking for

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems design
• Knowledge of motion control and sensors
• Ability to manage system requirements
• Hardware debugging skills
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or similar languages
• Familiarity with embedded firmware (C++ preferred)
• Experience in data analysis
• Background in consumer electronics
