Supplier Industrialization Engineer

About this role

Formlabs seeks a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to qualify suppliers, manage new product introductions, and drive supply chain optimization for their 3D printing technology. You'll bridge R&D and manufacturing partners globally, owning supplier selection, cost modeling, and launch readiness while traveling up to 20% internationally.

What you'll do

• Identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions in collaboration with R&D
• Own Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy for new product introduction BOMs, including supplier selection and negotiation
• Lead supplier manufacturing process development and ensure launch readiness for new products
• Conduct cost modeling, estimation, and maintain clear-to-build reports for NPI programs
• Identify supply risks, drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, and manage quality audits
• Facilitate technical requirement communication between suppliers and Formlabs engineering teams
