Forus is seeking a Founding Security Engineer to build the security foundation for their rapidly growing AI-powered network connecting healthcare providers, pharmacies, and biopharma. This role demands a highly autonomous and resourceful individual with deep cloud security expertise, capable of establishing security practices from the ground up while ensuring the protection of sensitive patient data. The ideal candidate will play a key role in securing their AWS and GCP infrastructure and building a secure-by-default environment.
What you'll do
- Own cloud and infrastructure security across AWS and GCP.
- Integrate security into product architecture and development workflows.
- Establish detection, logging, and incident response procedures.
- Secure corporate and identity surfaces.
- Design isolation and data-flow controls for AI systems.
- Build automation and security-as-code for compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST).
