Forus is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain the platform and infrastructure underpinning their rapidly growing AI-powered network. This role involves owning critical components like EKS, data layers, and cloud reliability, with a focus on scalability, cost optimization, and enabling product teams. What you'll do

  • Own and define the architecture of the compute platform (EKS, networking, autoscaling).
  • Manage and optimize the data layer (Postgres, OpenSearch, BigQuery) for performance and cost.
  • Control cloud spend by building attribution and driving optimization.
  • Define and own platform reliability, including SLOs and incident response.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code and self-serve primitives for product teams.
  • Ensure data stores remain fast and cost-effective as load grows.
