Cloud Engineer

About this role

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures for mission-critical operations. The role focuses on multi-cloud support (AWS, Azure, Oracle, GCP), security monitoring, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code, requiring 5+ years of cloud engineering experience and an active TS/SCI clearance.

What you'll do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP using IaC tools like Terraform and ARM templates
• Troubleshoot cloud environment issues and implement security best practices
• Leverage Azure security services including Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel for compliance
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI
• Configure network security controls including NSGs and application gateways
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions
