Network Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Network Engineer to support mission-critical IT infrastructure in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role involves managing LAN networks, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and executing infrastructure projects while maintaining security and operational resilience.

What you'll do

• Follow established procedures using ticketing systems to track and document all network activities
• Support network upgrade projects and implementations with minimal operational disruption
• Install, maintain, and secure LAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and access points
• Respond to hardware failures by diagnosing and replacing networking components
• Troubleshoot end-user connectivity issues and provide responsive technical support
• Manage network access controls and enforce security policies
