System Engineer

About this role

Support a team managing eight intelligence and logistics mission-critical products by combining systems engineering expertise with hands-on technical delivery. This role bridges business needs, technical implementation, and operations while helping establish Agile processes and foundational practices for a maturing organization.

What you'll do

• Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and documentation to translate business/operational needs into testable specifications
• Establish and maintain system documentation in Confluence covering architecture, workflows, interfaces, and design decisions
• Define and implement team processes for requirements management, change control, and traceability
• Support integration and operational use of commercial and government off-the-shelf products through evaluation and configuration
• Create and manage user acceptance testing processes including test planning and stakeholder coordination
• Act as connector between business, technical, and operational teams to ensure scalable solutions

• UAT and testing process design
• GitLab experience (preferred)
