Electrical Engineer (New Grad Summer 2027)
About this role
Freeform seeks a new graduate electrical engineer to design and develop custom electronics for AI-native metal 3D printing factory systems. You'll work on PCB and compute system design, taking projects from concept through production with a collaborative engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and test highly reliable electronics and PCBs
- Model and simulate circuit designs for performance analysis
- Execute electrical architecture, component selection, and schematic capture
- Prototype, debug, and bring up custom electronics using lab equipment
- Drive productization efforts including documentation, manufacturing, and testing
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines on integrated factory systems
