About this role
Fuze Health seeks a Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and observability platforms that power insights for healthcare operations and leadership teams. You'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps to build scalable, efficient solutions that transform raw data into actionable intelligence.
What you'll do
- Deploy and maintain data pipelines serving operational and business teams
- Design and build data observability platforms and monitoring metrics
- Create metadata-driven pipeline solutions for scalability
- Monitor and optimize data transformations for performance
- Build and integrate third-party data sources
- Work with DevOps to implement infrastructure-as-code practices

- SQL and Python for data manipulation
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform preferred)
- ETL/ELT workflow design
- Snowflake administration and tuning
- Data observability and monitoring
- Software engineering fundamentals
- Problem-solving in fast-paced environments
