AI Product Engineer

About this role

G2 seeks an AI Product Engineer to build and ship end-to-end AI and agent-first products for the world's largest software marketplace. You'll combine full-stack engineering with product strategy, leveraging modern agentic techniques to deliver production-ready solutions that drive organizational goals.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI agents applying prompts, context, tools, and model reasoning to automate processes and generate content
• Deliver user journeys to production across the full software stack with ownership of architecture, quality, and release
• Validate solutions using traditional QA, model-based evaluations, and agent tracing to ensure measurable quality
• Collaborate with designers and PMs to ideate, prototype, and ship features that advance high-priority goals
• Incorporate agentic software engineering techniques across planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Influence team technical direction and identify what technology enables versus implementation challenges
