FP&A Data Engineer

About this role

Galaxy seeks an experienced FP&A Data Engineer to build and maintain the firm's financial data warehouse, PnL models, and automated reporting systems across trading and protocol services. You'll architect data pipelines, implement reconciliation frameworks, and modernize legacy systems while partnering cross-functionally with technology teams.

What you'll do

• Design and own the FP&A data warehouse as the single source of truth for management reporting, PnL analytics, budgeting, and KPI tracking
• Build complex PnL attribution and KPI models using Python and SQL for daily, weekly, and quarterly reporting cadences
• Implement automated reconciliation frameworks to ensure data integrity and reduce manual processes
• Partner with Technology teams to modernize legacy Excel and Python models with modern technical standards
• Establish data governance, version control, and testing best practices across FP&A technical workflows
• Support ad-hoc analyses for the business and CFO organization through accessible data solutions
