Mission Operations Engineer

About this role

Gallatin seeks a Field Engineer to deploy and integrate Navigator, an AI-driven defense logistics platform, with strategic government customers. You'll own the technical customer relationship, manage end-to-end data integrations, and ensure successful adoption across complex legacy systems while working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

What you'll do

• Execute data integrations connecting customer logistics systems to Navigator platform
• Partner with customer engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and API designs
• Develop playbooks, tooling, and documentation for customer onboarding and scaling
• Debug technical issues, own escalations, and coordinate with internal engineering teams
• Serve as technical owner of customer experience from deployment through operational use
• Travel to customer sites for onboarding, reviews, and industry events (up to 50%)

• Ability to explain technical concepts to executives and engineers
• Operations in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

• DevSecOps, Kubernetes, or enterprise defense systems (bonus)
