Machine Learning Engineer I

About this role

Gen is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer I to develop and deploy ML models that drive customer growth, retention, and personalization across its cybersecurity and financial wellness platforms. You'll own end-to-end projects involving model building, experimentation, and production deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Own machine learning projects from data exploration through model development, validation, and production deployment
• Build predictive, recommendation, ranking, and segmentation models for customer personalization and business decisioning
• Prepare datasets, engineer features, and ensure data quality for model training and evaluation
• Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure model performance and business impact
• Deploy models into production and iterate based on real-world feedback and results
• Use AI coding assistants and automation tools to accelerate modeling workflows

• SQL and big data platforms (BigQuery, Spark, or equivalent)
