About this role

Generalist is seeking a full-stack Electrical Engineer to own electrical systems from concept to production for their innovative robotics platform. You'll design and develop sensing, motor control, and power delivery systems, working closely with mechanical and software engineers to create robust and high-performance robot hardware. This role requires a blend of high-level architectural thinking and hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and production.

What you'll do

  • Own electrical designs through the full lifecycle.
  • Design sensing and motor control electronics for robotic systems.
  • Architect power delivery systems with diverse power sources.
  • Write and debug embedded firmware (C, C++, Rust).
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers on enclosure integration.
  • Drive designs to production, including DFM, DFT, and certification.
