About this role

General Matter seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for a cutting-edge uranium enrichment facility in Paducah. You'll lead electrical infrastructure from concept through commissioning, collaborating across disciplines to deliver compliant, high-power systems for nuclear fuel production.

What you'll do

• Design detailed electrical systems including power distribution, UPS units, generators, and transfer switches
• Create design packages to permit level using Revit
• Perform load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and grounding design
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with NFPA and IBC codes
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and nuclear engineers on system integration
