Electrical I&C Engineer (New Grad)

About this role

General Matter, a nuclear fuel enrichment company backed by top-tier investors, seeks an Electrical I&C Engineer to design and develop electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls for a modern enrichment facility. You'll work on power generation systems, grid integration, and facility infrastructure while receiving mentorship from senior engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What you'll do

• Design and evaluate electrical equipment spanning low-voltage DC to high-voltage three-phase systems
• Analyze and design onsite power generation systems including microgrids and natural gas generators
• Evaluate electrical load profiles to optimize power distribution and generation strategies
• Support operation and maintenance of grounding, lighting protection, UPS, battery, and transformer systems
• Plan and implement electrical control systems and modifications with diverse power requirements
• Create detailed design specifications and documentation for contractors and stakeholders
