About this role
General Matter seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to design and oversee mechanical systems for a cutting-edge uranium enrichment facility in Paducah. You'll lead HVAC, central plant, and piping design from concept through permitting while collaborating across disciplines on this mission-critical greenfield project.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, ductwork, and piping
- Prepare design packages up to permit level using Revit with comprehensive drawing sets and specifications
- Collaborate with structural, electrical, architectural, and chemical engineers on integrated solutions
- Review code-compliant designs and produce calculations and technical reports for validation
- Contribute to project concept development, feasibility studies, and scope definition
