About this role
Design and build custom testing systems for nuclear fuel production hardware at a mission-driven startup. You'll develop test infrastructure combining hardware, software, and procedures to validate electronics and electro-mechanical systems before production deployment.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain custom test solutions for in-house electronics and hardware
- Select or design PCBAs for power distribution, signal measurement, and load application
- Write Python automation software to control test equipment and integrate with production systems
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams on reliability improvements
- Investigate test failures and support mitigation implementation
- Plan comprehensive test campaigns covering lifetime, performance, and safety requirements
