SAP Functional Engineer (MM/WM/PP/SD)

About this role

GenScript seeks an experienced SAP Functional Engineer with deep expertise in MM/WM/PP/SD modules to manage and optimize supply chain and manufacturing processes. The role involves daily system administration, project leadership, requirements gathering, and ensuring data integrity for a biotech innovator serving customers across 100+ countries.

What you'll do

• Operate, maintain, and administer SAP MM/WM/PP/SD modules daily
• Lead or support rollout projects and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Monitor master data integrity and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
• Gather business requirements and draft functional specifications
• Organize and manage testing phases (UT, IT, UAT)
• Track post-go-live adoption and system performance

• Independent SAP customizing and configuration
• End-to-end business process knowledge
• Functional specification and requirements gathering
• Bilingual capability (fluent Chinese and English)
• SAP certification or CSV validation experience
• ABAP development knowledge
• Manufacturing or life-science industry experience
