Back-End Developer with AI Experience

About this role

Wing seeks a Back-End Developer with AI expertise to design and maintain scalable server-side systems that integrate machine learning models into production applications. You'll collaborate across teams to build AI-powered features, optimize performance, and manage data pipelines supporting AI deployment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems, APIs, and microservices
• Integrate AI/ML models into production applications and manage their deployment
• Collaborate with front-end developers, AI/ML engineers, and data scientists on end-to-end features
• Optimize databases, APIs, and system performance for large-scale data processing
• Build and manage data pipelines for AI model training, testing, and deployment
• Implement security protocols including authentication, authorization, and data protection

What they're looking for

• Back-end development (3+ years experience)
• Back-end languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, or Go)
• AI/ML model integration and deployment (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs)
• Relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
• Cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
• MLOps tools and data engineering pipelines (preferred)
