GTM Automation Engineer, (Clay, Instantly)

About this role

Wing is seeking a GTM Automation Engineer to build and operate a high-scale outbound engine that reaches SMBs and mid-market companies. You'll architect Clay workflows, manage email infrastructure across hundreds of domains, run rapid experiments, and write conversion-focused copy—owning the entire automation system from lead enrichment to revenue impact.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain advanced Clay workflows for lead scraping, enrichment, verification, scoring, and personalization at scale
• Set up and manage multi-domain email infrastructure with DNS, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, and email verification tools (LeadMagic, BounceBan)
• Run weekly outbound experiments testing copy variations, subject lines, and personas; build dashboards tracking open→reply→meeting→revenue metrics
• Write conversion-focused outbound emails and sequences with dynamic personalization using Clay's AI and variable insertion
• Write Python/JavaScript scripts to integrate tools via APIs, clean data, and automate manual workflow steps
• Scale outbound volume from 5k to 250k+ emails/month while maintaining deliverability and reducing cost per qualified meeting
