G&A Engineer, Netsuite

About this role

GitLab seeks a G&A Engineer to develop and maintain NetSuite solutions supporting core business processes like Quote To Cash and Procure to Pay. You'll design custom workflows, build system integrations, and partner with business teams to automate and improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Develop NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics
• Build and maintain system integrations via SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and APIs; collaborate with RPA and iPaaS teams
• Manage NetSuite metadata, records, fields, and roles to ensure proper data flows
• Lead cross-functional partnerships to understand business needs and deliver solutions
• Drive end-to-end technical delivery for medium-sized projects with minimal guidance
• Build and improve internal processes for data-driven insights and operational efficiency

• NetSuite SuiteCloud development tools and all NetSuite modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, SuiteBilling)
• SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and CSV imports
• Claude tools (Claude code, MCP) and VSCode integration
• Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services
• SQL, JSON, APIs, and data analytics/reporting
• Project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Self-starter mentality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Security best practices and confidentiality protocols
