Design Engineer

About this role

Givebutter seeks a Design Engineer to build engaging marketing experiences for their nonprofit fundraising platform. You'll blend design sensibility with engineering skills to create interactive, motion-rich web experiences using Astro, partnering closely with the design team to bring ambitious prototypes to production.

What you'll do

• Build interactive acquisition and marketing pages using Astro with advanced motion and personalization
• Translate design prototypes and Figma into production-grade interactions and motion primitives
• Create data-driven marketing pages that showcase real campaign and nonprofit cause information
• Integrate marketing surfaces with analytics tools like PostHog and feature flags like LaunchDarkly
• Collaborate with Design, Growth, Marketing, and Engineering teams across disciplines
• Maintain high standards for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and visual polish
