Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Join Glean's founding forward deployed team to discover and build next-generation AI product surfaces working directly with Fortune 500 C-suite executives. You'll operate with founder-level autonomy to identify unsolved business problems and create entirely new products that ship to Glean's global customer base.

What you'll do

• Conduct deep discovery at strategic customer sites to identify structural business problems and opportunities
• Design and ship 0-to-1 products that extend Glean's Work AI platform into new domains
• Partner with Forward Deployed PMs and customer executives to validate hypotheses and pressure-test solutions
• Lead technical implementation of novel product surfaces using Glean's horizontal AI platform
• Collaborate with Glean's core engineering and product teams to scale successful solutions across 1,000+ customers
• Own the full lifecycle from problem identification through shipping to production
