Software Engineer, Context Platform

About this role

Glean seeks a Software Engineer to build the context platform that powers AI experiences across enterprise tools. You'll design SDKs, APIs, and developer tooling that enable seamless integration of Glean's AI capabilities into external applications and agent frameworks.

What you'll do

• Design and build SDKs and client libraries for developers to integrate Glean into their applications and agent frameworks
• Own agent-focused tooling, MCP integrations, and SDKs for external frameworks and IDEs
• Develop custom platform context services such as Code Search, Code Writer, and Memory systems
• Define and maintain REST API standards including resource design, versioning, and OpenAPI schemas
• Collaborate with Security on authentication and authorization flows for developer scenarios
• Work across multiple stack layers including backend services, developer tools, and documentation
