About this role

Gotion Inc. seeks a BMS Application Engineer to support the design and development of high-voltage battery systems for electric vehicles at their Manteno, Illinois manufacturing facility. You'll work cross-functionally to translate customer requirements into electrical architecture solutions, manage system integration, and provide onsite OEM support while collaborating with global teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop electrical architecture for high-voltage battery systems, including BMS and CMU components
  • Translate customer and system-level requirements into feasible design and software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, validation, and testing
  • Support BMS hardware integration and communication interfaces (CAN/LIN)
  • Prepare technical documentation and input for RFQ/RFI processes
  • Contribute to DFMEA, DVP&R planning, and ISO 26262 functional safety compliance
