About this role
Gotion Inc. seeks a Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the quality liaison between the company and its customers, managing complaints, conducting failure analysis, and driving continuous improvement for lithium battery and energy storage products. The role involves on-site problem resolution, root cause identification, and cross-functional coordination to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability.
What you'll do
- Receive, evaluate, and resolve customer quality complaints with 8D problem-solving methodology and closed-loop verification
- Conduct on-site failure analysis including visual inspection, electrical testing, and battery pack disassembly to identify faulty components
- Organize cross-departmental failure analysis teams and implement permanent corrective actions
- Develop and oversee temporary containment measures for major quality incidents
- Manage customer interfaces including quality meetings, data reporting, and audit coordination (VDA6.3, IATF16949)
- Track quality metrics (PPM, FTT, claim rate) and generate trend analysis reports for process improvement

Benefits
