Electrical Systems Engineer (480V Industrial Power)

Gotion Inc. seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to oversee 480V industrial electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance at their new Manteno, IL manufacturing facility for battery and energy storage systems. The role involves coordinating with electrical contractors, interpreting technical drawings, supporting equipment startup, and ensuring NEC compliance.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams for 480V systems
• Act as technical liaison between company and electrical contractors/vendors
• Support equipment installation, startup, and acceptance testing
• Identify electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain documentation and update redlines
• Assist with maintenance planning and perform basic inspections after project handover
