About this role
Gotion Inc. seeks an Environmental Equipment Engineer to manage and optimize pollution control systems at a lithium battery manufacturing facility in Illinois. You'll oversee daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of environmental equipment while ensuring compliance with emission standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do
- Supervise and coordinate environmental equipment maintenance team activities
- Perform daily inspections and establish maintenance standards and procedures
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure availability and stable performance
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures including pumps, electrical systems, and emission deviations
- Manage chemical dosing systems and maintain documentation and SOPs
- Lead technical upgrades and support commissioning of new environmental technologies
