About this role

Gotion Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop high-voltage battery pack systems for electric vehicles, focusing on structural integrity, thermal management, and manufacturing readiness. You'll lead component design, CAD development, and cross-functional collaboration to bring next-generation battery technology from concept to production.

What you'll do

  • Design and release mechanical components for HV battery packs including enclosures, mounting structures, and vehicle interfaces
  • Create 2D/3D CAD models and drawings for battery assemblies with proper GD&T specifications
  • Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA analyses to identify failure modes and drive design improvements
  • Manage prototype development, assembly, and delivery while meeting design targets and timelines
  • Collaborate with CAE and testing teams to validate product performance
  • Coordinate with supply chain and supplier quality to ensure component delivery and validation
