QMS Engineer

About this role

Gotion Inc., an electric vehicle and energy storage technology company, seeks a QMS Engineer to establish and maintain quality management systems at their Manteno, Illinois manufacturing facility. The role involves building QMS architecture, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement across production operations.

What you'll do

• Design QMS system architecture and establish quality documentation aligned with factory requirements
• Organize internal audits, management reviews, and third-party certification coordination
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures
• Develop inspection guidelines and maintain comprehensive quality records
• Identify quality trends and propose preventive risk reduction measures
• Track industry best practices and optimize factory quality systems

• Quality management systems (QMS) design and implementation
• APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and MSA tools
• Internal auditing and certification management
• Root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Quality data analysis and reporting
• Cross-functional collaboration
• VDA 6.3 (preferred)
• Manufacturing process knowledge
