Gotion Inc. seeks a Sales Electrical Engineer to bridge commercial and technical expertise within their Illinois energy storage manufacturing facility. This hybrid role combines customer acquisition and account management with the technical ability to configure, specify, and validate lithium battery and energy storage systems for diverse market segments.
What you'll do
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities across C&I, data centers, municipalities, and utilities segments
- Lead customer engagements from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution
- Develop and present tailored proposals communicating technical capabilities, financial value, and project structure
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline; track activity and report progress against sales targets
- Provide technical depth in configuring systems, reviewing interconnection requirements, and validating performance data
- Support customer acquisition while managing ongoing account relationships
