AI Product Engineer

About this role

GovWell seeks an AI Product Engineer to develop generative AI-powered workflow automation products that modernize government services. You'll report to the CTO, work closely with leadership on product strategy, and own the full lifecycle of AI solutions—from conception through production—using techniques like RAG and multi-agent systems to handle complex regulatory processes.

What you'll do

• Design and launch AI-powered workflow automation products for government agencies, including AI assistants and permit/license review agents
• Own end-to-end AI product development, from identifying agency needs to shipping production solutions using RAG and LLM systems
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and domain experts to ensure AI workflows are intuitive, reliable, and compliant
• Implement multi-agent orchestration for complex approval processes like construction permitting and business licensing
• Iterate on automation features using agency feedback and real-world usage data to improve trustworthiness and transparency
• Leverage cutting-edge generative AI models to ensure accuracy and scalability across diverse government use cases
