Full-Stack Software Engineer

About this role

GovWell is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build AI-powered platform features that modernize government services and streamline public agency operations. You'll work across the entire stack reporting to the CTO, taking ownership of product areas that directly impact millions of residents while working in a fast-growing startup environment.

What you'll do

• Build and ship full-stack features across frontend and backend systems for government workflow platforms
• Own product areas end-to-end, ensuring reliability and performance in government environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into usable product functionality
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews to strengthen engineering practices
• Iterate on features based on customer feedback and product data to improve efficiency
• Contribute to integrating AI models into developer workflows and resident-facing applications
