About this role

Grafana Labs seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to join their growing Commercial SE team, serving as a technical expert who bridges customers and the sales organization. You'll deliver technical presentations, enable customer success, and provide critical feedback to product teams while supporting high-velocity deal closures.

What you'll do

  • Partner with sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition and strategy to prospective and existing customers
  • Lead technical customer engagements and competitive evaluations to help close opportunities
  • Deliver product and technical presentations to customers at various stages of their journey
  • Communicate customer feedback and competitive intelligence back to product and engineering teams
  • Create enablement materials including documentation, blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles
  • Drive product conversations based on customer needs and market insights

  • 5+ years technical pre-sales experience
  • Open source technologies knowledge
  • Metrics/monitoring and observability platform expertise
  • Written and verbal communication skills
