Electrical Engineer

About this role

Graphcore, an AI computing leader under SoftBank Group, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design innovative hardware systems for AI/ML applications at their new Austin campus. You'll develop schematics, design multilayer PCBs, and guide designs from concept through mass production while collaborating across teams.

What you'll do

• Develop electrical schematics and design multilayer PCB layouts
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to partners
• Drive design for manufacturability, assembly, and testability
• Support prototype builds, board bring-up, and validation testing
• Track design issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage engineering changes
• Ensure documentation, revision control, and ECO/ECN compliance

• Schematic capture and PCB design tools
• Analog and digital circuit design
• Multilayer PCB layout
• Lab equipment operation (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
• Power delivery network design
• Signal and power integrity analysis
• Design for manufacturability/assembly/testability
• Server hardware or data center systems experience
