About this role
Graphcore, an AI computing leader under SoftBank Group, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design innovative hardware systems for AI/ML applications at their new Austin campus. You'll develop schematics, design multilayer PCBs, and guide designs from concept through mass production while collaborating across teams.
What you'll do
- Develop electrical schematics and design multilayer PCB layouts
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to partners
- Drive design for manufacturability, assembly, and testability
- Support prototype builds, board bring-up, and validation testing
- Track design issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage engineering changes
- Ensure documentation, revision control, and ECO/ECN compliance

- Schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Multilayer PCB layout
- Lab equipment operation (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
- Power delivery network design
- Signal and power integrity analysis
