About this role
This Field IT Operations Engineer role requires a technically proficient individual to independently support and maintain end-user technology and core IT infrastructure across multiple locations. You'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and serve as an escalation point for less experienced engineers. Expect significant travel (up to 40%) and occasional on-call rotations to ensure operational stability.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and maintain end-user hardware and applications (PCs, PoS systems, VoIP phones, etc.).
- Support and maintain server environments (Dell, Nutanix, Windows Server), network devices (Meraki, Fortinet), and IoT devices.
- Resolve incidents and service requests using Freshservice and SolarWinds.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, site deployments, and equipment refreshes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and adhere to company standards.
