Gritt is seeking a Robot Learning Engineer Intern to contribute to their mission of building AI-powered robotics for infrastructure development. As an intern, you'll own a defined project, working closely with a mentor to develop and deploy machine learning policies for real-world robot tasks. This hands-on role provides an opportunity to apply your skills in deep learning and robotics while contributing to climate impact.

What you'll do

  • Train machine learning policies using imitation learning, RL, or fine-tuned foundation models.
  • Develop data collection and evaluation pipelines.
  • Deploy policies on hardware and iterate on real-world performance.
  • Test developed policies on physical robots.
  • Work with pose estimation, VLM, VLA, and 3D scene reconstruction.
  • Contribute to research and potentially publish findings.
