About this role
GTI is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for modular infrastructure projects. This role involves creating detailed designs, drawings, and documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical design principles and experience with 3D CAD software.
What you'll do
- Design structural frames, enclosures, and assemblies.
- Develop designs considering fit, function, and serviceability.
- Create fabrication drawings and bills of material.
- Perform component sizing and tolerance analysis.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Support prototype builds and troubleshooting.
