CNAPP Cloud Security Engineer (Remote) - Northeast region

About this role

GuidePoint Security seeks a CNAPP Cloud Security Engineer to deliver cloud security solutions for enterprise customers across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You'll implement and manage cloud security tools, develop infrastructure-as-code, perform vulnerability assessments, and advise clients on security best practices.

What you'll do

• Deploy CNAPP and CSPM tools across multi-account cloud environments
• Integrate IaC scanning and security tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop custom security controls using JSON, REGO, and Terraform
• Identify and resolve cloud vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and IAM misconfigurations
• Assess and report on overall cloud security posture with metrics and KPIs
• Advise customers on cloud security best practices and emerging technologies

• CNAPP/CSPM tools (Wiz.io, Orca, Lacework, Prisma Cloud, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• CI/CD pipeline integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Programming languages (Python, PowerShell, REGO)
• Kubernetes and container security
• Cloud vulnerability and compliance assessment
• Written and verbal communication
