About this role

Haast Autonomous is seeking an Avionics & Electrical Engineer to develop the electrical systems for their long-range VTOL aircraft. This role combines design, integration, troubleshooting, and testing, with a focus on building a reliable system from prototype to production. You'll play a key role in shaping Haast's engineering practices and contributing directly to a novel medical logistics network.

What you'll do

  • Design the aircraft's avionics and electrical power architecture.
  • Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings.
  • Integrate flight controllers, propulsion systems, and other onboard components.
  • Perform electrical analyses and define acceptance test procedures.
  • Conduct bench testing, ground testing, and flight-test support.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and avionics system failures.
