About this role
Hadrian seeks a CAM Programmer for execution in Mesa, Arizona to diagnose and resolve manufacturing failures across CNC programs, machine setups, and inspection processes. This hybrid process engineering role bridges CAM programming and shop-floor production, ensuring reliable manufacturing outcomes for aerospace and defense components.
What you'll do
- Perform root cause analysis on CNC program failures, machine setups, and inspection workflows using CMM data and GD&T validation
- Refine tool paths and cutting parameters based on real-world machine behavior and material response feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally with CAM, Quality, CMM, Applications, and Automation teams to develop production solutions
- Identify and eliminate systemic manufacturing weaknesses to increase process robustness and standardization
- Bridge CAM programming intent with shop-floor execution through continuous process refinement
- Troubleshoot fixture designs, machine processes, and operator workflows
What they're looking for
- CAM programming (5+ years aerospace experience)
- CNC machining (mills, lathes, 5-axis machines)
- GD&T and engineering print reading
- Materials expertise (aluminum, stainless steel, hard metals like Inconel)
