EHS Engineer
About this role
Hadrian seeks an EHS Engineer to lead safety operations at a new 2.25M sq ft advanced manufacturing facility in Cherokee, AL. You'll develop controls, procedures, and hazard assessments for novel processes including welding, additive manufacturing, casting, and forging while partnering with engineering and operations teams to embed safety from design through production.
What you'll do
- Develop engineering controls, administrative procedures, and PPE programs tailored to specific process hazards
- Conduct hazard assessments (Haz-ops, JHAs, risk assessments) for new equipment and processes before operation
- Author and maintain safety procedures, SOPs, and risk assessments for Factory 4 operations
- Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions for safety incidents
- Deliver safety training on process-specific hazards and controls to staff
- Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance; support inspections and agency interactions
