About this role

Hadrian seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission automated robotic manufacturing cells for aerospace and defense production. You'll work cross-functionally to scale advanced automation systems across multiple U.S. factories, focusing on PLC programming, control panel design, and production floor commissioning.

What you'll do

  • Lead electrical and controls design for automated manufacturing robotic cells
  • Write and maintain PLC applications using Siemens TIA Portal
  • Design control panels to industrial standards (NFPA 79, UL 508A) and create electrical documentation
  • Commission and debug automation systems on the production floor
  • Develop standards and procedures for scalable automation deployment
  • Diagnose and resolve control system and hardware issues
