About this role

Hadrian seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations at its Los Angeles facility, bridging customer requirements with factory capabilities while scaling from low-rate to high-volume aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll manage quality compliance, lead new product introductions, troubleshoot defects, and integrate new automated assets into production workflows.

What you'll do

  • Interpret customer specifications and create shop floor work instructions aligned with quality and compliance standards
  • Lead new product introduction activities including control plans, first article inspections, and FAI documentation
  • Identify and resolve production defects through root cause analysis to improve yield and reduce rework
  • Onboard new customers and automated production assets while collaborating with software engineering teams
  • Support factory transition from low-rate to high-volume production by optimizing processes and infrastructure
  • Conduct internal audits, maintain auditable documentation, and drive corrective actions in regulated environments
