Hadrian seeks a Materials & Process Engineer specializing in metallurgy to develop and validate metallurgical processes for autonomous aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll ensure material integrity and process performance across production environments while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

What you'll do

  • Develop, validate, and maintain metallurgical processes including heat treatment, material selection, and surface finishing
  • Perform metallurgical evaluations such as microstructural analysis, hardness testing, and material characterization
  • Investigate material and process nonconformances and conduct root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to translate requirements into stable production processes
  • Support supplier material qualification, certification review, and process capability monitoring
