Software Engineer - Data Platform

About this role

Hadrian seeks a Software Engineer to build AI and data infrastructure powering autonomous factories in aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll design and deploy critical systems including RAG pipelines, MLOps infrastructure, data warehouses, and machine learning workflows that enable intelligent factory operations at scale.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy RAG pipelines and vector search systems for manufacturing knowledge retrieval
• Build MLOps infrastructure for model training, deployment, monitoring, and orchestration
• Architect and manage data warehouses with robust ETL pipelines across on-premises and cloud
• Develop data frameworks and coordinate machine data logging across distributed infrastructure
• Solve complex machine data and AI integration problems using optimal patterns and retrieval architectures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations research scientists, product managers, and manufacturing experts
