About this role

Hadrian seeks a Welding Engineer to develop and optimize automated welding processes for aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to qualify welding technologies, ensure regulatory compliance, and scale production for mission-critical components.

What you'll do

  • Develop, qualify, and optimize multiple welding processes including laser, GTAW, orbital, resistance, GMAW, friction stir, and plasma arc welding
  • Work with high-performance alloys such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium
  • Collaborate with design, tooling, automation, and manufacturing teams to implement new welding technologies into production
  • Partner with NDT personnel to evaluate weld quality and support advanced inspection technique implementation
  • Create welding work instructions, maintenance plans, Welding Procedure Specifications, and Procedure Qualification Records
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace, defense, and maritime welding standards
