Electrical Design Engineer - AI Trainer

About this role

Handshake seeks experienced KiCad or LibrePCB users for flexible, remote contract work evaluating and providing feedback on AI-generated electronics design content. This project-based opportunity allows you to leverage your PCB design and schematic expertise to help train AI models while working independently on your own schedule.

What you'll do

• Create questions and prompts related to KiCad or LibrePCB tool usage
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and practical relevance
• Assess AI content against real-world hardware engineering and PCB design workflows
• Provide detailed feedback on AI-generated design guidance and tool instructions
• Annotate and label circuit schematics and PCB design materials as needed

What they're looking for

• KiCad or LibrePCB proficiency
• Schematic capture and PCB layout design
• Embedded systems or IoT hardware knowledge
• EDA tool workflow understanding
• Written communication and attention to detail
• Independent work and ability to follow guidelines
