Structural Engineer - AI Trainer

About this role

Handshake seeks experienced FreeCAD BIM/IFC professionals to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback on computational design tasks and AEC workflows. This flexible, remote contract role involves reviewing AI responses and creating quality assessments based on real-world building modeling expertise.

What you'll do

• Create tool-related questions and assess AI-generated responses for accuracy
• Review parametric models and AI outputs for data integrity and design consistency
• Evaluate AI content relevance to computational design and BIM coordination workflows
• Annotate and label BIM models and AEC data assets
• Work independently following written guidelines on project-based tasks
• Provide feedback that improves AI understanding of building design processes

What they're looking for

• FreeCAD BIM/IFC modeling (1+ years hands-on)
• Parametric 3D building modeling
• IFC data management and standards
• BIM coordination and workflows
• ArchiCAD and Revit proficiency
• Written communication and attention to detail
• Model review and quality assurance
• Building data asset annotation
